![]() I know that that's a lot of questions, here's the last one. Blackmagic Design has changed the way their full DaVinci Resolve studio software and install key comes bundled with its keyboard, speed editors and panels. I'm using Ubuntu (resolve non-studio is working fine, no problems with being on a Debian based distro), is the dongle compatible with Linux? There’s a full suite of immersive audio tools including Dolby Vision and HDR10+ grading. I don't like having to rely on a tiny piece of plastic to use a 310$ product, but If it's the only way, I'd do it. DaVinci Resolve Studio supports up to 120 fps at a massive 32K resolution, as well as support for multiple GPUs for real time playback of professional 10bit formats, and accelerated H.264 and H.265 hardware decoding and encoding. If my concerns about the key end up to be true, one solution would be the dongle version. I have a laptop and a PC, on how many devices can I use the same key? If the key can be used multiple times, does using it on one machine invalidate the license confirmation on any other machine using the same key? Couldn't you then abuse this by activating a PC and then taking away the internet and activating another PC with the same key? Loosing the license when reinstalling the os or not being able to move it to another PC or installation would be a deal breaker for me. It says that it only needs internet during setup. When I use the key to activate davinci resolve and then reinstall my OS, can I use the same key to activate the new installation of resolve? There's basically no way of telling that it's the same computer, it could really be any computer with the same IP. I have never bought any software where the authentication doesn't rely on an account, so I have a few questions regarding the license key: ![]() I am planning to buy davinci resolve studio. ![]()
